PRO-FRIENDS: Live a complete life in Lancaster New City

Living in a place that has it all and provides everything that you might possibly need may seem like a pipe dream coming off a utopian movie scene. It is not an exaggerated statement, if you will think about it, what are the odds of you living in a completely perfect city. We are going to answer that question of probability. What are the odds for us to live in a complete city? The answer is that probability is 100% positively on our side because we now have the Lancaster New City development. It is a complete new town that runs through three towns in Cavite namely Kawit, Imus City and General Trias. The word complete is always present whenever the name Lancaster New City is being mentioned because that is what the development is focused on: offering a real estate development that offers all the nuances of community leaving. I had the chance of seeing the actual development since I recently tagged along with my elder sister when she had her tripping schedule to see Lancaster New City because she and my brother in-law are currently in the market for their first home purchase. As far as I know this is like the seventh real estate development that they have checked out within a span of six months. That is how aggressive they are in their quest for the nest where they will create a family. Most of the developments that they have seen thus far as expected are condominium developments majority located in the Metro Manila area, Makati and Paranaque. I think they saw a couple of subdivision type developments in the Laguna and Bulacan area but they were not that thrilled about those. So I am going to let everyone in on what I have seen during the tripping. I will also opine a little bit just so you will have a much broader understanding of what the development can really offer from an actual observer’s perspective.
Accessibility and location – the Lancaster New City is accessible via the new Cavite Expressway or Cavitex. If you are working in the Makati Central Business District, it will take you around 45 minutes to get there and probably less if you are driving. Other major towns and cities like Dasmariῇas Cavite, Las Piῇas City, Muntinlupa City, Makati City and Tagaytay City are all less than an hour away from Lancaster New City. If you will think about it, living in this fantastic piece of real estate development will put you right smack in the middle of everything. Imagine having both Makati and Tagaytay within a comfortable reach. That means a fun night out on a Saturday evening in Makati and a cozy Sunday afternoon picnic with the family in Tagaytay. Now that is the best of both worlds as they say. Well I’ll say it’s a win-win situation.

Amenities – this is the department where the Lancaster New City shines through and packs a powerful punch. The new city offers the following premium amenities:

Leighton Hall – A classy multi-functional events hall where residents can hold birthdays, wedding receptions, parties and other occasions. It provides unparalleled convenience because there is no longer a need to travel far to celebrate a life event.

St. Edward Integrated School – a school that has the main purpose of providing good quality education that is closer to home.

Suntech iPark – ever dreamed of waking up an hour before the start of your shift? Then this might be your ticket. The Suntech iPark is the first I.T Park in Cavite and situated inside Lancaster New City.

Lancaster Mall – Lancaster City’s legacy of completeness rages on as the Lancaster Mall features a supermarket, shopping center and an events center.

These are just some of the amenities that I saw during the tripping. The other ones are already a given like the covered basketball court, swimming pool, church and others. Needless to say, my sister and brother and law fell in love instantly. I did too. Now it’s just a matter of getting the documents all worked out to make this fantasy a reality.

Profriend: Lancaster New City- A complete city

If you are living in the city and in the market looking to buy a place that you can call your home, you probably have noticed by now that there is only one option for you if you are to put your hard-earned money into a real estate investment. That seemingly mono-dimensional option I yapped about earlier is guess what, condo developments. I might be exaggerating it to a tad bit hyperbolic degree when I said that real estate choices these days are unidirectional and funnels down to condominium developments but there are smithereens of verisimilitude in that statement. I mean when was the last time you were offered a real housing development at the mall? It has been a while right? Most of the flyers real estate folks are handing out nowadays are all promoting condos. But don’t fret. That does not mean that your dream of owning a house and lot (Yeah that’s right, I am talking about a real ornate concrete box sitting on a small piece of god’s green earth) is no longer in the pipe line because there is a new real estate development located on the outskirts of Metro Manila that is only 15 minutes away from The SM Mall of Asia to give you a more concrete concept of how close it is to the city. It is aptly called the Lancaster New City because it offers a lifestyle and environment that channels the English countryside like its namesake The City of Lancaster in the district of Lancashire in England. If you are old school like me when it comes down to hooking yourself up with a real estate property then the Lancaster New City is hands down definitely made for you. Recently, me and a bunch of like-minded investment dabblers came down to the land of Lancaster New City to find out what it can offer, if it is capable of measuring up to other quality real estate developments and see if the company back its claims up in Profriends. So here goes the tripping report:
Travel time from the CBD – our agent was accommodating enough to pick us up at a location near our office in Makati. We all agreed to wait for the white van at a Starbucks Coffee Waltermart branch. The guy on the steering wheel took us there via the scenic Manila-Cavite Expressway or Cavitex as it is popularly known. The travel time devoured at least 30 minutes inclusive of the usual traffic stops that we encountered before we entered the toll plaza. Not bad at all.

House model options – There is definitely a plenitude of house model choices in Lancaster New City. The current number of options is nine house models with prices ranging from 870k to 2.7M. That means there is going to be something for everyone depending on their financial capacities.

Amenities – Lancaster New City offers the standard fare of premium amenities that you could find in upscale developments plus there’s more… they also have the Suntech iPark, the first I.T park in Cavite that will cater to BPO companies. This is great news for me and my colleagues that have been yearning for a workplace that is just a hop, skip and jump away from home. Another notable amenity is the Lancaster Square Mall that offers a shopping center, a supermarket and an events center slated to be the next shopping destination for families in the community and surrounding areas.

We had an overall excellent impression of the city. It is a complete development at prices that can’t be beat. I am now halfway through the down payment on my Haven unit and I can’t wait for Profriends to tell me to move in.

ProFriends: PDI feature of Lancaster Square

If you haven’t heard or read, ProFriends’ Lancaster Square was featured in the Philippine Daily Inquirer! This was published last August 14, 2013. I only read about this yesterday and I am posting it here for you guys to read:

Caviteños look forward to Lancaster Square’s Dining & Leisure Amenities

Lancaster New City in Kawit, Cavite recently opened its commercial hub, Lancaster Square, completing its planned amenities in the sprawling community that now has church, a big club house and pool, and school.

The new commercial hub and all the other amenities is seen to attract more locators in the real estate development project as well as help tremendously in servicing the needs of the residents, according to Jocelyn Guzman, Pro-Friends president.

Lancaster New City, a major urban use project by Pro-Friends in the south of Luzon, started as a 20-hectare development that expanded to 100 hectares divided into several phases.

Apart from shops and services, the Lancaster Square complex is also home to a BPO office, the first to be established in the allotted commercial area, which in the future will also include a sprawling IT Park.

Lancaster Square offers the conveniences of a town minutes away from Metro Manila. The hub is home to an array of specialized services and establishments: Bayad Center, Artista Salon and Spa, Healthwealth Medical Clinic, Studio KYS, Gabriel Archangel Learning Center, Generics Pharmacy, and Rustan’s-operated Wellcome Supermarket. There’s also PetFormance, a pet supply store.

Dining options at the Lancaster Square include Lady Christine’s Baby Back Ribs, Lots-a-Pizza, Bean and Butter Café, and Ice Cream House.

Residents also get to enjoy weekend flea markets at the grounds of Lancaster Square.

Soon a nature park will be added adjacent to the new commercial hub to provide open areas for residents to unwind, relax and enjoy walks and other physical activities.

The Lancaster Square provides ample parking space as a public transport terminal. Buses from Cavite and Metro Manila (via Cavitex) will regularly make stopovers at the Square to pick passengers going to work to Manila.

From small pocket developments, to medium-rise condominiums and townhouses, ProFriends has ventured into estate development to meet the different tastes and needs of the Filipino homebuyers… (read more via Property Company of Friends Inc Facebook page)

This sounds heavenly! Well, I guess that’s how it’s supposed to be for a PR article. Other papers have also featured PCFI in the past. Anyway, I am looking forward to the Lancaster Square and IT Park. How about a mall or mini-mall next time, PCFI? Haha! The flea market would be great since we can also set up a stall.

I wonder if these commercial projects would be added to other PCFI projects as well (Bellefort Estates, Carmona Estates, Parc Regency Residences, etc)? I think Lancaster is the flagship project of PCFI so this is why such an ambitious plan is being developed. Now, I’m really happy we chose Lancaster! But I do hope other PCFI projects will be blessed with these added amenities as well!
